Axel is the classic story of a runaway kid from a good home. He didn't want the prim and preppy lifestyle that his parents wanted him to have so he packed his bags and so did his little sister Iris. They backpacked for many months before coming to Northwest city where he meets the Z-Fighters, he explains his story and he tells them that he wants to learn how to fight. He trains hard and frequently and before long he becomes a powerful fighter. And even though his sister doesn't fight he is still very close to her. He meets Kirsten when he goes to the Kame House to deliever a message to Master Roshi. They flirt, hang out and in less then a year they date and 3 years after that they marry. Axel loves his family and would do anything for his family.
